Whether the image retains that traditional ‘cinematic’ feeling is a matter which has been greatly debated but this technique lends itself to Stereo 3D very well. From a practical perspective, increased frame-rates also require larger, faster media storage and more complex shooting, VFX, editing and grading workflows with more frames to handle.
