Haz Dullul’s Sci-Fi Short ‘Sync’

IBC Supermeet presentation shows Resolve V11’s new speedy workflow tools

Haz Dullul is a young London based film director with a strong background in visual effects. His sci-fi short ‘Sync’ was created as a proof-of-concept movie with the aim of finding studio backing for a full length sci-fi feature movie. This short movie was shot entirely with Blackmagic Cinema cameras and finished with DaVinci Resolve and other VFX packages including Blackmagic Design’s Fusion effects software.

This presentation made at the 2014 IBC Supermeet in Amsterdam with features colorist Giles Livesey giving an overview of basic Hollywood style grading techniques and the speed of the new ‘group grading’ features in DaVinci Resolve V11.
